In Binh Thuan, thanks to the two expressways Dau Giay – Phan Thiet and Phan Thiet – Vinh Hao, the province has attracted a large number of tourists for sightseeing, relaxation, and the numbers have started to increase from the second day of Tet.

According to the statistics of the Department of Culture – Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province, thanks to the high number of tourists, almost all accommodation establishments in Binh Thuan province are fully booked, and some resorts have reached maximum room capacity. The average room capacity mobilized by hotels and resorts during the Tet holiday reached 75-85%. From the 29th day of the last lunar month to the 4th day of Tet, Binh Thuan welcomed about 180,000 visitors for sightseeing and relaxation.

Many businesses operating in the local hospitality industry have proactively developed tourism stimulus programs, introduced new attractive packages, as well as improved the quality of services to attract tourists. Many accommodation establishments have also organized competition packaging of traditional cakes, outdoor gala dinner, performances of traditional musical instruments and international music, New Year’s Luck Gathering program, folk games, lion and dragon dances, re-enactment of traditional Tet markets…

In Ba Ria – Vung Tau, the province received over 360,000 visitors and generated over 207 billion VND in revenue during the 3 days of Tet. The security and order situation, environmental sanitation, food safety, emergency rescue at sea, price stability, etc. were ensured.

In particular, on the third day of Tet, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province welcomed about 165,000 visitors, generating an estimated revenue of over 87 billion VND. The number of guests staying in the province exceeded 86,700, with an average room capacity of about 60-65%. Vung Tau City alone welcomed about 80,000 visitors, generating revenue of over 36 billion VND.

According to Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Vung Tau City, Vu Hong Thuan, during the Tet holiday, the city was determined to ensure urban order and civility, such as no street vendors, no encroachment on road margins causing disorder and detracting from the urban landscape…

To maintain the landscape and ensure urban order, Vung Tau has assigned dedicated personnel to busy areas such as Ward 1, Ward 2, Ward 8, and Thang Tam Ward to ensure peace of mind for residents and tourist satisfaction when visiting the city. Thanks to that, public amusement parks, flower festivals, coastal roads, and beaches remain clean with no accumulation of garbage.
