Since its inception, the Annual Investment Summit has attracted thousands of international companies and generated over $98 billion from new investment projects through a streamlined “one-stop” platform designed to connect eligible foreign companies and investors with the United States’ Economic Development Organizations (EDOs) – the agencies representing state and local governments in 50 states and territories throughout the United States.

“The United States is the world’s largest consumer market and a great choice for any Vietnamese companies looking to expand globally,” shared Mr. Stephen Green, Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi.

“During the 4-day SelectUSA Investment Summit, companies can connect and gather the information they need efficiently to start their business development process in the United States – everything they need to know is right here! Last year, the U.S. Mission to Vietnam brought 30 business representatives seeking opportunities to do business in the United States to attend this Investment Summit,” said Mr. Stephen Green.

Vietnam and the United States are currently focusing on cooperation in the high-tech sector. SelectUSA will have an event for startups and tech companies, along with opportunities for investors to learn about the hotel, tourism, healthcare, energy sectors, and more.

The United States has been ranked as the top global destination for foreign direct investment (FDI) for over a decade, and it currently receives more FDI than any other country in the world. The 10th SelectUSA Investment Summit is an opportunity to continue advancing the development of the U.S.-Vietnam Comprehensive Partnership and is also a welcomed initiative to enhance trade relations between the two countries.
