14 BOT Stations under Revenue Collection Management Monitoring

There are 14 BOT toll stations on various highways. These toll stations are under special scrutiny for their operations and management practices, as well as for their collection of toll fees for using the highways. The scrutiny will help ensure proper oversight and accountability.

The Directorate for Roads of Vietnam (DRVN) has just issued a decision to issue the 2024 Inspection and Supervision Plan for Toll Stations for road use services on the national highway system under the management of the Directorate.

Accordingly, there are 14 toll stations included in the 2024 inspection and supervision plan of the DRVN, including: Hac Tri Toll Station; Pha Lai Toll Station; Dai Yen Toll Station; toll stations of the Hanoi-Lao Cai Expressway Project; toll stations National Highway 1, Bac Giang province; Quan Hau Toll Station; Toll Station Km1425+200, National Highway 1, Khanh Hoa province; Toll Station Km1807+500, Ho Chi Minh Road; Toll Station Km0+700 Cu Mong Tunnel; Cai Lay Toll Station; Toll Station T1, Km16+905, National Highway 91, Can Tho City; Toll Station Km2171+200, National Highway 1, Bac Lieu province; Rach Mieu Bridge Toll Station; Can Tho-Phung Hiep Toll Station, Km2079+535, National Highway 1, Can Tho City.

The content of this inspection and supervision focuses on the management and operation of toll stations, the collection of fees for road use services at BOT projects. The inspection and supervision plan will take place from April to November 2024.

The DRVN requests that the road management areas, based on this plan, issue a decision to establish an inspection team, develop an inspection and supervision outline; organize the implementation to ensure transparency; report the inspection schedule to the Directorate 10 days before the inspection and supervision are carried out.

Within 7 days from the end of the inspection and supervision at the unit, the Road Management Areas shall issue a notification of the inspection and supervision results to the DRVN for synthesis and reporting to the Ministry of Transport./.
