Coming soon to Vietnam, the BYD Seal electric car will have no direct competition. Its dimensions are similar to the Toyota Camry, with a length of 4,800 mm and a width of 1,875 mm. The wheelbase of the vehicle measures an impressive 2,920 mm. Vietnam currently has no electric sedans of comparable size. Meanwhile, the hybrid version might face some competition from the Toyota Camry.

The BYD Seal’s design has been described by many as resembling that of a Porsche or Tesla due to its coupe-like appearance. The Seal’s drag coefficient is even lower than that of the Taycan (lower is better). The main headlights are LED with a lens design. The LED taillights extend horizontally across the back. The door handles are modern and retractable. The main difference between the electric and hybrid versions lies in the front end, where the hybrid has a grille for the engine.

The Seal’s interior shares some similarities with the Atto 3 in the design of the steering wheel and the rotatable 15.6-inch central display. The display behind the steering wheel is larger on the Seal than on the Atto 3. The overall interior design of the Seal is less radical than that of the Atto 3.
