Tank 300 Adds a Beefier Variant
The Tank 300 SUV lineup has welcomed a new addition called the Tank 300 Hi4-T. The key highlight of this variant lies under the hood. It features a hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 408 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. The power is channeled through a 9-speed transmission. This variant features four-wheel drive and a locking differential system.
The battery used in the vehicle is of the lithium-ion type. According to the manufacturer, the car can travel approximately 105 kilometers on pure electric power with a fully charged battery. This battery can be recharged. Meanwhile, the gasoline-powered range is around 860 kilometers when the tank is filled. The company claims a fuel consumption figure of just 2.06 liters per 100 kilometers.

The overall design of the Hi4-T variant remains consistent with the version currently available in the market. The vehicle measures 4,760 x 1,930 x 1,903 mm. It has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. The approach and departure angles are 32 and 33 degrees, respectively. The ground clearance stands at 222 mm. The 18-inch wheels feature a contrasting two-tone color scheme.

According to initial announcements, only 3,000 units of the Tank 300 Hi4-T will be produced. Consequently, the chances of this variant making its way to Vietnam are slim. It is more likely that the version of the Tank 300 that will be available in Vietnam is the lower-spec model that was showcased at the 2024 Bangkok Motor Show.
Tank 300 Expected in Vietnam
The Tank 300 has been confirmed for a Vietnamese release. In recent days, dealerships have been taking pre-orders for this model, promising its arrival later this year. The estimated price tag for this vehicle is around 1.2 billion VND, which is comparable to its Thai counterpart.
The Tank 300 boasts a distinctive design that resembles the Jeep Wrangler. Both the headlights and taillights utilize LED technology. The wheels of the Thai-market version measure 17 inches in diameter.

The interior of the Tank 300 features design elements reminiscent of Mercedes-Benz, such as the dual screens and turbine-style air vents. Other notable amenities in the vehicle include an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with massage function, a fighter jet-inspired gear lever, dual-zone climate control with fine dust filtration, and wireless charging.
