The Congressional Delegation Inspects Novaland’s Aqua City Project

In recent times, the government, along with various ministries, industries, and local authorities, has taken a proactive approach to alleviating challenges faced by the real estate market in Dong Nai. Among the projects benefiting from these concerted efforts is Aqua City, a Novaland development.

On July 9, Mr. Bui Van Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Chief of the National Assembly Office, and Head of Working Group 3, along with the members of the delegation, conducted a field survey at the Aqua City Urban Area Project in Long Hung, Bien Hoa City.

This is one of the key projects of Novaland Group Joint Stock Company. The survey is part of a program to supervise the implementation of policies and laws on real estate market management and social housing development from 2015 to the end of 2023.

During the visit, the Novaland team presented an overview of the project, including its progress, challenges, and recommendations. The project spans an area of 1,000 hectares and comprises nine smaller projects. At the time of the transfer, these projects had received approvals from state agencies, including detailed construction planning at a scale of 1/500, land allocation, land lease for project implementation, and construction permits.

The adjustment of the Bien Hoa city master plan, approved by the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province in July 2014, and the C4 sub-planning, approved in September 2016, did not fully incorporate the detailed planning of the projects approved earlier, resulting in inconsistencies across planning levels. This led to the temporary suspension of several projects, including Aqua City.

The Government, the Prime Minister, the Prime Minister’s Working Group, and relevant ministries and local authorities have provided guidance and implemented comprehensive solutions to address the challenges in the real estate market in Dong Nai. The provincial People’s Committee has actively collaborated with the Ministry of Construction and the Prime Minister’s Working Group. On May 23, 2024, the Ministry of Construction issued Document No. 2243 guiding the implementation of the dossier for adjusting the Bien Hoa city master plan at a scale of 1/10,000 until 2030, with a vision towards 2050. This paves the way for the completion of the dossier and the approval of the Bien Hoa city master plan adjustment, as well as the continuation of projects such as Aqua City.
