Even the brief dip on Friday failed to dampen the enthusiasm of precious metal traders.

This week, 14 analysts participated in the Kitco News Gold Survey, with Wall Street showing optimism for gold’s rise after the US stock market wobbled due to economic and geopolitical threats. 11 experts, accounting for 79% of the total, anticipate higher gold prices in the coming week. Only one analyst, or 7%, predicts a decline, while the remaining two, making up 14%, foresee a sideways trend.

Additionally, 191 votes were cast in the Kitco online survey. Consequently, 140 retail investors, or 73%, expect gold prices to climb this week. 28 others, or 15%, forecast lower prices, while 23 people, or 12%, envision a stagnant market.
