From a technical perspective, FTS stood out as it continued its positive momentum after retesting its previous high from October 2023. The stock also broke above the Middle line of the Bollinger Bands during the morning session on August 9, 2024, and is expected to close with above-average trading volume. This suggests that the short-term outlook is becoming less pessimistic following the previous corrective phase. Furthermore, the Stochastic Oscillator and MACD indicators have generated buy signals, reinforcing the potential for a sustained recovery in FTS going forward.

Within the VN30 basket, the bullish sentiment prevailed, with 20 stocks advancing, 9 declining, and 1 remaining unchanged. TPB, SSI, and GVR were the top gainers, while BCM, VHM, and SSB experienced minor losses of 0.98%, 0.66%, and 0.93%, respectively.
