The DIC Corp and the family of Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan announced his passing to various agencies, units, and friends on the morning of August 11th.
Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan passed away at 5:28 PM on August 10th, at his residence.
It is known that the funeral viewing will begin at 12:30 PM on August 11th, after which Mr. Tuan’s casket will be interred at the Kim To Cemetery Park in Long Dien, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan, born in 1957 in Thanh Hoa province, held a Master’s degree in Economics. He began his career at the age of 21 and, after a decade of hard work, rose through the ranks to become the director of the Ministry of Construction’s guest house in 1990.
In 2008, DIC, a unit under the Ministry of Construction, was equitized into the Construction Investment Development Joint Stock Corporation (DIC Corp), while also increasing its charter capital to 370 billion VND with over 30 member companies.
At that time, Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan, as Chairman and General Director, represented 32.5% of state capital in DIC Corp.
In August 2009, the company officially listed on the stock exchange with the code DIG.
Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan led and managed DIG, helping the company achieve breakthrough developments over the years, creating a solid foundation for its sustainable growth.
During Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan’s 34-year tenure, DIC Corp made significant strides and became one of the renowned real estate businesses in Vietnam. Today, the company owns several large-scale projects.
