According to the latest data from the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA) and Hyundai Thanh Cong (TC Motor) Joint Venture, Vietnam’s automobile market in July 2024 continued to thrive with higher sales growth compared to the previous month.
Notably, the Mitsubishi XForce unexpectedly took the lead in the Top 10 best-selling cars in July with a total of 1,748 units sold, an increase of 84% from the previous month.
Closely following in second place was the Toyota Vios with 1,745 units, an increase of nearly 1,000 units compared to June 2024. Cumulative sales from the beginning of the year to now, Toyota Vios sold 5,960 units.
The Mitsubishi Xpander ranked third with 1,492 units sold, a 20% increase from the previous month. Cumulative sales from the beginning of the year to now, the Mitsubishi Xpander sold 9,265 units.
In July 2024, VinFast VF 5 Plus sold nearly 2,600 units, surpassing the models in the Top 10 list. However, as this is not official information released by VinFast in the Vietnamese market, the ranking does not include this model.
