The arrival of the Tesla Cybertruck in Indonesia has captured the attention of many technology and automotive enthusiasts. Glamour Auto Boutique, the first importer to bring this vehicle to the country, has revealed detailed information about the product.
According to Mr. Sigit Tedi, Business Director of Glamour Auto Boutique, the Cybertruck is introduced to the Indonesian market in its standard version and is imported directly from the US.
In Vietnam, there have been hints from private import companies about bringing the Tesla Cybertruck to the country. It is still unclear when this vehicle will arrive in Vietnam. The same enterprise also mentioned importing several Cybertrucks, not just one.
The Cybertruck is offered in a single color, Silver Brushed, and is priced at approximately 5 million rupiah (around 8.1 billion VND), including related costs in Jakarta. With this reference price, the Cybertruck is expected to be priced higher when it reaches Vietnam.
With its bold and modern design, the Cybertruck is crafted from ultra-hard stainless steel, providing optimal protection in collision situations. The protective glass on the vehicle is also designed to be shatter-resistant.
In terms of performance, the Tesla Cybertruck is equipped with an all-wheel-drive system, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in just 2.6 seconds. This acceleration capability surpasses that of many renowned supercars, such as the Lamborghini Aventador or Ferrari 296 GTB. Additionally, the vehicle can travel up to 547 kilometers on a single full charge, as claimed by the manufacturer.
The Cybertruck boasts an impressive towing capacity of nearly 5 tons, along with a payload capacity of over 1.1 tons, making it one of the most powerful electric trucks in the market today.
Unveiling the Tesla Cybertruck in Indonesia
While the Tesla brand has been present in Vietnam for some time, the vehicles available are imported through private import companies. Some notable Tesla models currently in Vietnam include the Model 3, Model S, and Model X. One limitation of using Tesla electric vehicles in Vietnam is the lack of infrastructure for charging stations.
