The Wangye Beetle, a domestically-produced Chinese scooter, has recently been launched in the market with a starting price of 4,380 CNY (approximately 14 million VND).
Inspired by the classic Beetle, the Wangye Beetle features smooth and curvaceous lines reminiscent of European scooters. Its front headlights boast a simple, classic round design. With overall dimensions of 1,700 mm in length, 680 mm in width, and 1,050 mm in height, a seat height of 680 mm, and a weight of 78 kg, the Wangye Beetle is well-suited for urban commuting, especially for students.

The Wangye Beetle’s dashboard sports a classic pointer design and is equipped with a backlit display. For added convenience, a USB charging port is located on the right handlebar. While its drum brakes may not be as modern as disc brakes, they still ensure safe stopping power. The scooter is fitted with Jianda-branded tires known for their excellent road grip and durability.

Under the seat is a 50cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power of 2.4 kW (approximately 3.3 hp). The 4-liter fuel tank capacity is quite generous for a 50cc scooter, allowing for a range of up to 200 km on a single fill-up. This means that, essentially, you only need to refuel once a week for your daily commute.
