According to Mr. Mai Van Phan, Director of the Department of Data Registration and Land Information (MONRE), to implement the Land Law of 2024, on July 31, 2024, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment issued Circular No. 10/2024/TT-BTNMT regulating dossiers on land, Land Use Right Certificates, and Ownership Certificates of assets attached to the land.
This includes provisions on the sample Land Use Right Certificate and Ownership Certificate of assets attached to the land (Certificate) to be granted to land users.
Mr. Mai Van Phan said that the types of Land Use Right Certificates, House Ownership Certificates and Land Use Rights, Land Use Right Certificates, House Ownership Certificates, and other assets attached to the land… that have been granted according to the provisions of land law, housing law, and construction law before January 01, 2025, are still legally valid and not mandatory. must be replaced with a new Certificate.
In case land users and asset owners need to be granted a new Certificate according to the 2024 Land Law.
Thus, although the name and content of the Certificate according to the 2024 Land Law have changed to suit the application of technology, the Certificates granted according to the land law at different times are still legally valid as Certificates granted according to the new model.
In case the people have been granted Certificates according to the old model, if they have a demand, they shall be granted a new Certificate according to the 2024 Land Law.
