Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha:
Areas of Responsibility:
– Transport; ensuring traffic order and safety.
– Construction.
– Natural resources and environment; climate change.
– Agriculture and rural development, new rural construction; flood prevention and control, search and rescue.
– National master planning, regional planning, and provincial planning.
– Key national projects and basic construction investment projects within the assigned domain.
– Economic zones, industrial parks, and export processing zones.
– General mechanisms and policies on bidding (the handling of bidding-related tasks in specialized fields is directed by the Deputy Prime Ministers in charge of those respective fields).
– Approving investment policies for investment projects within the assigned domain.
Supervision and Guidance:
– Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Vietnam National University in Hanoi, and Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City.
Other Duties:
– Chairman of the National Planning Council.
– Chairman of the National Council for Water Resources.
– Chairman of the Vietnamese Sub-Committee in the Vietnam – Russian Federation Intergovernmental Committee.
– Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee.
– Chairman of the National Civil Aviation Security Committee.
– Chairman of the Vietnam Mekong Committee.
– Head of the Central Steering Committee for Housing Policy and the Real Estate Market.
– Head of the National Steering Committee for Green Growth.
– Head of the Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control.
– Chairman of national councils, committees, and steering committees; Chairman of the Council for Appraisal of Planning Schemes in related fields.
Decision No. 919/QD-TTg takes effect on August 28, 2024.
This Decision replaces Decision No. 506/QD-TTg dated June 13, 2024, of the Prime Minister on the assignment of tasks to the Deputy Prime Ministers, Decision No. 814/QD-TTg dated August 8, 2024, of the Prime Minister on assigning a Deputy Prime Minister to handle some tasks, and other previous regulations that are contrary to this Decision.
