The stock market opened on September 4th with a less-than-optimistic outlook. Adjustments from large-cap groups pulled the index below reference levels, maintaining a red status throughout the session. The VN-Index closed at 1,275.8 points, an 8.07-point decrease. Foreign exchange transactions were a downside, with net selling recorded at nearly VND 794 billion across the market.
Securities companies’ proprietary trading recorded net selling of VND 435 billion on the entire market.

On the HoSE, securities companies’ proprietary trading recorded net selling of VND 428 billion, including net selling of VND 462 billion on the matching channel and net buying of VND 34 billion on the negotiated channel.
Specifically, the securities companies with the highest net selling were HPG at VND 67 billion, followed by TCB and FPT with VND 58 billion and VND 40 billion, respectively. Additionally, stocks such as VPB, ACB, HDB, and GVR were also net sold during the September 4th session.
On the other hand, the highest net buying was recorded for E1VFVN30 at VND 58 billion, with two other fund certificates, FUESSVFL and FUEVFVND, also being net bought at VND 41 billion and VND 39 billion, respectively. KDH, DGC, IJC, and DPG were among the stocks that were net bought during today’s session.
On the HNX, securities companies’ proprietary trading recorded net selling of nearly VND 7 billion, with LAS being net sold at VND 16 billion, while PLC and IDC experienced minor net selling; conversely, PVS was net bought at VND 10 billion.
On the UPCoM, there were no transactions recorded for securities companies’ proprietary trading.
