The leadership of Khanh Hoa Province’s Department of Tourism shared that this year’s extended four-day holiday for September 2 and favorable weather conditions greatly encouraged people to go sightseeing, experience local cuisine, and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere to conclude the summer and prepare children for a new school year.
In fact, as many families and companies had already traveled during the summer months, there was a tendency for tourists to opt for nearby destinations.
According to the assessment of the Khanh Hoa Province’s Department of Tourism, the increase in airfare affected the choices of domestic tourists. Of these, there were 196 domestic flights with 28,790 passengers and 254 international flights with 48,055 passengers. South Korea and China remain the primary markets for tourism in Khanh Hoa Province. Notably, domestic tourists to Khanh Hoa mainly traveled by road and used personal vehicles.

Additionally, they organized inspections of 11 accommodation establishments and several service providers on Nha Trang Bay.
