Apple has done it again with iOS 18, introducing a slew of new features that will enhance the iPhone user experience. The latest iOS update, unveiled at WWDC 2024 in June, offers exciting enhancements, including Apple Intelligence, a game-changer for iPhone users. As announced at the “It’s Glowtime” event, which took place in the early hours of September 10, iOS 18 will be available for global users to update on September 16.
All iPhone 16 models will come with iOS 18 pre-installed.
Which Devices Support iOS 18?
The following iPhone models are compatible with iOS 18:
– iPhone 16 Series: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max
– iPhone 15 Series: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max
– iPhone 14 Series: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max
– iPhone 13 Series: iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max
– iPhone 12 Series: iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max
– iPhone 11 Series: iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max
Additionally, iOS 18 will also support the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and iPhone SE (2nd generation and newer).
Unfortunately, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X users will not be able to update to iOS 18.
Models older than the iPhone X will not support the iOS 18 update.
iOS 18 will be officially released on September 16. However, users eager to get their hands on the new software early can download the public beta version of iOS 18 at beta.apple.com.
