The recent storm, Yagi, and its aftermath have brought heavy rains, floods, and landslides to many northern provinces in Vietnam, causing immense losses and heartache. However, amidst the devastation, the resilience and compassion of the Vietnamese people shine through.
Neighbors lend a helping hand to clean up each other’s homes, volunteers from all over the country unite to provide relief to affected areas, and people from the central and southern regions send traditional cakes and well-wishes to the north. These acts of kindness spark hope and showcase the unwavering unity of Vietnam, even in the face of adversity.
The heartwarming gestures extend beyond adults, as school children also enthusiastically pitch in. Recently, students from Hanoi Elementary School in Ba Dinh, Hanoi, sent care packages to flood-affected residents, accompanied by sincere and heartfelt messages of encouragement.

These care packages were part of a meaningful educational activity organized by the teachers and students of Hanoi Elementary School on September 10th.
The gifts prepared by the students were simple—a loaf of bread wrapped with encouraging messages. This small gesture, however, carries a lot of warmth and kindness. It not only provides support to those affected by the floods but also instills a sense of empathy and compassion in the young students.
