The Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has approved a project to construct a new complex for 18 specialized departments, 4 socio-political organizations, and historical archives. This complex will be built on a 9.2-hectare land in Vinh Thai, Nha Trang, which is currently mostly rice fields and fish ponds. The project has a maximum construction density of 40% and will accommodate approximately 1,200 people. It includes office buildings, a historical archives center, technical infrastructure, and auxiliary gardens and landscapes. With a total investment of over VND 1,867 billion, the project is expected to be completed between 2024 and 2027.
Previously, many departments and sectors of Khanh Hoa province operated in a combined office area. However, at the beginning of 2024, these offices were demolished to construct the Headquarters of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Council, and the Provincial People’s Committee. Temporary arrangements have been made for the departments and sectors to operate from other public properties.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Permanent Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, shared that the construction of the new headquarters is of great importance in enhancing the quality of public services for the people. He further emphasized the need for synchronized and timely actions from all involved departments to ensure the early completion and operation of this project.
