Becamex Infrastructure Development JSC (Becamex IJC, HSX: IJC) recently announced that September 27 will be the record date for the 2023 dividend payment.
According to the plan, Becamex IJC will pay a cash dividend of 7%, meaning that shareholders will receive VND 700 per share, with an expected payment date of December 26, 2024.
With over 377.7 million shares outstanding, Becamex IJC is estimated to pay a total of more than VND 264.4 billion in this dividend payment.
Previously, in 2022, Becamex IJC paid a dividend of 14%, followed by a 7% dividend in 2023, and an expected dividend of around 5% in 2024.
Recently, Becamex IJC appointed Mr. Vu Phi Hung as Deputy General Director for the 2024-2029 term. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Hung served as Director of Legal Affairs and Assistant to the Chairman of the Board.
In terms of business results, in the second quarter of 2024, Becamex IJC recorded a revenue of VND 389 billion, a 45% decrease compared to the same period last year; gross profit decreased by 32% to VND 141 billion. As a result, after-tax profit reached VND 73.5 billion, down 48% over the same period.
Accumulated in the first half of 2024, Becamex IJC’s revenue reached VND 551 billion, down 47% over the same period, and after-tax profit reached only VND 113 billion, down 55% over the same period last year.
For the full year 2024, Becamex IJC plans to increase revenue by 44% to VND 2,206 billion and after-tax profit by 29% to VND 511 billion. Thus, by the end of the first half of 2024, Becamex IJC has achieved 22% of its plan.
