Land Rover Vietnam has confirmed that the Range Rover Velar will be introduced in the country towards the end of the year. The vehicle will be available in three official variants: Velar S, Velar Dynamic SE, and Velar Dynamic HSE.

While the official pricing has not been disclosed, Land Rover dealerships previously announced in July that pre-orders for the vehicle would start at around VND 4.3 billion.

The 2024 Land Rover Velar marks the second update since its initial launch in 2017. A key highlight of this upgrade is the ultra-slim LED Pixel lighting system. Subtle refinements have been made to the grille, front and rear bumpers, and the door handles now feature a hidden design. Three new exterior colors have been added: Varensine Green, Arroios Grey, and Zada Grey.

The interior has received more significant updates. The previous dual-screen setup has been replaced with a single 11.4-inch Pivi Pro screen that offers enhanced functionality, similar to the higher-end Range Rover models. The gear selector has been repositioned to the center console, and physical buttons have been eliminated.

The interior features Kvadrat fabric and Ultrafabric synthetic materials alongside other premium options. Land Rover also offers four new leather colors for the Velar 2024: Cloud White, Caraway Brown, Raven Green, and Deep Garnet Red. The Dynamic HSE variants come with Windsor leather-trimmed seats.

Notable additions to the equipment list include an active noise cancellation system, adaptive air suspension, integrated Wi-Fi with data enabling access to online entertainment services like Spotify, PM2.5 air filtration, and a Meridian sound system.

In terms of performance, the Range Rover Velar 2024 in Vietnam will offer three engine options. The P250 variant features a 2.0L I4 gasoline engine producing 246 horsepower, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. The P340 variant is equipped with a 3.0L I6 gasoline engine generating 335 horsepower, achieving a 0-100 km/h sprint in 6.3 seconds. The P400e variant combines a 2.0L I4 gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 398 horsepower and reaching 0-100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds.

All Range Rover Velar models come standard with all-wheel drive. Like other Land Rover vehicles, the Velar 2024 is equipped with Terrain Response 2, offering a range of driving modes for on-road and off-road conditions, including Eco, Comfort, Dynamic, Automatic, Grass, Gravel, Snow, Mud, and Sand.

Safety features include emergency brake assist, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control, among others.
