Speaking at the reception, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long conveyed the Prime Minister’s greetings to the leadership of IHW Group, a company the Prime Minister met and exchanged during his visit to Japan in December 2023.
Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long said that Vietnam-Japan relations are in a good development period with increasing political trust, especially after the two countries upgraded their relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (December 2023). Japan is one of Vietnam’s major partners in the healthcare sector. The cooperation projects with Japan have brought about positive results for the healthcare of Vietnamese people. The contributions of IHW Group and Mr. Takagi Kuninori have played a role in this achievement.
The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the sentiments of Mr. Takagi Kuninori and IHW Group in promoting healthcare cooperation between Japan and Vietnam, including providing scholarships for training healthcare personnel and cooperating with the Ministry of Health of Vietnam.
The Deputy Prime Minister welcomed IHW Group’s investment projects and hospital construction in Vietnam following the Japanese model. He stated that Vietnamese people have increasing demands for high-quality healthcare services. Therefore, the Deputy Prime Minister hoped that IHW’s projects would succeed, providing Vietnamese people with access to modern, reliable, and attentive healthcare technology and services.
The Deputy Prime Minister also believed that with the efforts and passion of Mr. Takagi Kuninori, the cooperation between IHW and Vietnam would yield substantial results, contributing to the enhancement of healthcare cooperation between the two countries.
Thanking the Deputy Prime Minister for his time, Mr. Takagi Kuninori shared IHW’s potential and strengths and informed about their cooperation activities in Vietnam. The Group intends to invest in the healthcare sector in Vietnam to provide advanced medical care services using modern equipment and Japanese surgical robots. In cooperation with Vietnam, Mr. Takagi Kuninori aims to promote scholarship programs and accept more Vietnamese students in the fields of healthcare and welfare. He also plans to establish and implement many effective cooperation projects with various hospitals and medical facilities in Vietnam.
Mr. Takagi Kuninori expressed his desire to invest in medical facilities so that Vietnamese people can access Japanese-quality healthcare services in Vietnam and contribute to the country’s socio-economic development.
He hoped to continue receiving support from the Vietnamese Government, ministries, sectors, and localities for IHW Group during their investment and business operations.
“Japan Supports Enhancing the Efficiency of Vietnam’s Stock Market”
On September 23, the State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) hosted a workshop in Hanoi titled “Promoting the Efficiency of Vietnam’s Stock Market.” This event marked the launch of a project aimed at “Enhancing Capacities for Promoting the Efficiency of Vietnam’s Securities Market.”
