On the evening of November 22, SJC gold bar prices were listed by SJC Company at VND 85 million per tael for buying and VND 87 million per tael for selling, marking an increase of VND 500,000 per tael from the morning and a total surge of VND 800,000 per tael compared to the previous day.
SJC gold bar prices have been on a continuous upward trend for a week. Some companies have raised their buying prices to VND 85.5 million per tael. Businesses have also narrowed the buying-selling price gap to approximately VND 2 million per tael, in contrast to the VND 3.5 million difference observed in previous days.
ACB Bank offered selling prices of VND 87.5 million per tael for gold bars, with buying prices reaching VND 86 million per tael.
Not only gold bars but gold rings and jewelry of various types also reached new highs. SJC Company traded 99.99 gold rings at VND 84.6 million per tael for buying and VND 86.1 million per tael for selling, reflecting an increase of VND 100,000 from the morning and nearly VND 500,000 per tael compared to the previous day.

The domestic gold market remained turbulent as international precious metal prices surpassed the $2,700 per ounce mark following consecutive increases in recent days. At 7 PM Vietnam time, gold prices stood at $2,701 per ounce, representing a surge of over $15 per ounce from the morning and a total increase of nearly $50 per ounce compared to the previous session.
The movement in gold prices took investors by surprise. After a correction of around $250 per ounce from the peak of $2,790 per ounce last week, gold prices skyrocketed to new highs, approaching historical peaks.
It wasn’t just gold prices that surged; the US dollar also strengthened significantly, breaching the 107.4-point threshold, the highest level since the beginning of 2022.
Currently, the international gold price converted based on the listed exchange rate is approximately VND 83 million per tael.
