Conference Panorama

Despite surpassing most socio-economic targets for 2024, the province still faces challenges with a relatively small economic scale and modest competitiveness. There are ongoing issues with public investment and connecting projects to BOT roads, which have caused discontent among the people. Additionally, the integration of redundant civil servants due to the merger of commune-level administrative units has presented initial difficulties.

Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Quang Binh Party Committee, affirmed, “2024 is considered a breakthrough year, and our accelerated efforts have been crucial in achieving the goals set by the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. The Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations have strengthened their leadership, direction, and implementation of comprehensive and resolute solutions to strive for the successful completion of the tasks at hand, laying the foundation for reaching the targets for the entire term.”
