This plot of land, spanning over 17,787 m2, is designated for medical facilities and intended for a general hospital project. According to the detailed 1/500 construction planning approved by the People’s Committee of Phu My town, the land is allocated for a hospital project with a capacity of 200 beds.
The starting price for this land was set at over VND 108.13 billion, and the auction was conducted in a minimum of two rounds (with no maximum limit) using the direct ballot method, with an incremental bid of VND 2.162 billion. Participants were required to make a deposit of over VND 21.6 billion before the auction.
After a thorough evaluation, three individuals were deemed eligible to participate in the auction, but only two—Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh Tuan from District 8, Ho Chi Minh City, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Anh from District 3, Ho Chi Minh City—submitted the required deposit and proceeded to the auction.
In the first round of bidding, both participants submitted valid bids, offering prices of over VND 108.135 billion and VND 108.130 billion, respectively. In the second round, the bids increased to VND 110.299 billion and VND 110.320 billion, respectively.
In the third round, both participants chose to stop bidding and agreed to pay the highest price offered in the second round. As a result, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Anh won the auction for the land-use rights with a final bid of VND 110.320 billion.
Mr. Nguyen Thien Vu, Deputy Director of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province Land Development Center, assured that the auction process was conducted transparently and openly, with the participation of multiple units and the use of cameras to record the proceedings. This approach will help instill confidence in individuals and businesses interested in investing in the province in the future.
It is worth noting that this is the first land auction organized by Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province in 2024. The province plans to hold more auctions for large land plots in December 2024 and the first quarter of 2025.
