On December 24, at the headquarters of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam in Hanoi, a contract signing ceremony was held for the Investment Project on the Construction and Business of Providing In-Flight Catering Services No. 1 and No. 2 under Component Project 4 at the Long Thanh International Airport.

Vice Director of the Civil Aviation Authority, Pham Van Hao, presided over the contract signing ceremony.

The investors who signed the contract included representatives from Vietnam In-flight Catering Services Joint Stock Company (VINACS) and Vietnam In-flight Catering Company Limited (VACS). These two investors were approved by the Ministry of Transport as the winning bidders and are also experienced in providing in-flight catering services at airports in Vietnam.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Director Pham Van Hao emphasized the importance of the project to the progress and effectiveness of Component Project 4 of the Investment Project for the Construction of the Long Thanh International Airport, Phase 1.

At the same time, the Civil Aviation Authority expects that after the contract signing, the parties will strictly implement the terms of the contract, ensuring construction progress and safety in all aspects of the process, fully complying with regulations on construction, environmental protection, and security and order on the site to soon put the project into operation, ensuring quality and progress as directed by the Government and the Prime Minister.

The leadership of the Authority and the two winning investors affirmed their commitment to maximizing resources to complete the project on schedule. Once completed, the project will contribute, along with the Long Thanh International Airport, to strongly promoting the socio-economic development and tourism of the Southern region and the country.
