**BUILDING A STRONG DOMESTIC BRAND**
Recently, on December 20 in Hanoi, the MEATDeli brand – a European-standard chilled meat brand owned by Masan MEATLife, a subsidiary of Masan – was named among the Top 10 Trusted Brands in Vietnam 2024 in the Agriculture, Food, Beverage, and Retail Chains category. This is the fifth consecutive year that MEATDeli has been featured in this prestigious award.
The “Trusted Brands in Vietnam” program, organized annually by the Vietnam Economic Magazine, has become a reputable event, aiming to connect manufacturers, distributors, and consumers. This year, with the theme “Sustainable Consumption, Positive Brands,” the program set strict criteria to honor brands that not only emphasize social responsibility but also bring practical value to consumers.
In addition, in September, Vietnam Report JSC announced the Top 10 reputable companies in the food industry for 2024. In this list, in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, Masan’s brand, Masan Consumer, ranked first in the group of seasoning, spices, and edible oils.
The Top 10 Reputable Companies in the Food and Beverage Industry for 2024 were selected based on scientific and objective principles. The companies were evaluated and ranked based on three main criteria: financial capacity reflected in the latest financial reports, media reputation assessed through the Media Coding method (coding articles about the company in influential media channels), and a survey of research objects and related parties conducted in August 2024.
Earlier this year, CHIN-SU (a brand owned by Masan Consumer) won the “Golden Brand for Youth” category at the 4th HCMC Golden Brand Awards 2023, organized by the HCMC Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with Saigon Economics Magazine. Masan Consumer was named among the Top 32 outstanding brands receiving the Golden Brand Award.
The possession of multiple strong brands and the receipt of prestigious awards testify to Masan’s relentless efforts in product diversification, innovation, and improvement to meet the ever-growing needs of consumers.
**TAKING VIETNAMESE BRANDS GLOBAL**
In recent years, Masan has not only built strong domestic brands but also introduced the unique flavors of Vietnamese cuisine to the world, including CHIN-SU chili sauce, Omachi noodles, and Vinacafe coffee. These products embody Vietnamese values while appealing to consumers in different markets and meeting international export standards.
2024 marked a special milestone for CHIN-SU chili sauce as it ranked first on Coupang, South Korea’s leading e-commerce platform. Moreover, in November, CHIN-SU made a grand appearance on a massive billboard in Myeongdong, Seoul’s premier shopping destination, and in the Glico sign area, an iconic landmark in the bustling Dotonbori food street in Osaka, Japan.
Most recently, CHIN-SU Phở Story collaborated with Vietjet Air to bring convenient pho, a combination of traditional pho essence and modern technology, to passengers at an altitude of 10,000 meters on domestic and international flights.
Amidst the transformation of Vietnamese agriculture towards modern and sustainable production models, WinEco, Masan’s vegetable, fruit, and crop division, has been a pioneer in developing high-tech, clean, and sustainable agriculture in Vietnam. Guided by the philosophy, “Health starts with what we eat,” WinEco has solidified its leading position in the market over the past decade.
On December 20, at the Trusted Products and Services Announcement event, WinEco was recognized among the Top 10 Impressive Products and Services of 2024. This annual award has been organized by the Vietnam Economic Magazine since 2006.

In the third quarter of 2024, WinEco took a significant step forward in its journey towards international markets by exporting over 90 tons of crystal lettuce to South Korea, a nation known for its stringent standards for imported products. This event further underscores the exceptional quality of WinEco’s agricultural produce.
Looking ahead to 2025, while focusing on domestic market development, WinEco will continue to target potential international markets such as Europe, Japan, and China. The coming year is expected to be a pivotal moment, solidifying the company’s pioneering role in the domestic and global markets while elevating the value of Vietnamese agricultural products.
Since the beginning of the year, in addition to the accolades from consumers, Masan has also been consecutively recognized and honored by reputable domestic and international organizations in prestigious awards, including: Best Workplace in Asia 2024 (HR Asia Award); Top 500 Leading Enterprises in Southeast Asia (Fortune Magazine); Top 50 Most Effective Companies in Vietnam 2024; and Top 50 Sustainable Businesses in 2024 (Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine).
