The Government Inspectorate has just issued a plan for a thematic inspection of projects with difficulties, obstacles, slow progress, low efficiency, or signs of waste and loss. A total of 145 projects nationwide are on this list.

In Dong Nai province, eight projects in areas such as real estate, urban infrastructure, energy, and residential areas will be directly inspected.

Notably, one of these is the Amata Long Thanh 1 Urban Services Area project, invested in by Amata Long Thanh Urban Joint Stock Company. The project covers an area of 55.4 hectares with a total investment of over VND 6,590 billion.

Another large-scale project under inspection is the Long Tan Tourism Urban Area, invested in by the Construction Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (DIG Corporation). This project spans 332 hectares with a total investment of over VND 4,751 billion.

Additionally, the following projects in Dong Nai will also undergo inspection: Cu Lao Tan Van Residential, Service, and Tourism Area (48.4 hectares, VND 3,082 billion in investment, invested by Asia Tin Nghia Investment Joint Stock Company); Improvement of the Landscape and Urban Development along the Dong Nai River (8.4 hectares, VND 2,132 billion in investment, implemented by Toan Thinh Phat Investment – Construction – Architecture Joint Stock Company);

Phuoc Thang Residential Area (56.5 hectares, VND 1,844 billion in investment by Song Phuong Industrial – Real Estate – Construction Co., Ltd.), and the Residential Area according to the plan (47 hectares, VND 1,542 billion in investment by Long Thanh Riverside Joint Stock Company).

The inspection plan also includes two completed projects: Loc Ninh 3 Solar Power Plant (149.5 hectares, over VND 3,600 billion in investment, completed in 2020) and Duc Thanh Hydropower Plant (7.8 hectares/over VND 2,000 billion, completed in 2022).

The inspection period is calculated from the project’s implementation phase up to July 1. If necessary, the scope can be extended to cover phases before or after this timeframe. The inspection duration should not exceed 45 days.
