Specifically, according to statistics from the Ninh Binh Provincial Tourism Department, the Tràng An tourist area welcomed over 97,000 visitors, while the Bái Đính Temple welcomed more than 225,000 visitors during the 7-day Tết holiday in Giáp Thìn, 2024.

The investor of these spiritual tourist areas, such as Tam Chúc Pagoda and Bái Đính Pagoda, is Xuan Truong Construction Company – a business associated with Mr. Nguyễn Văn Trường (born in 1963), who is also known as the billionaire Xuan Truong. Xuan Truong is a private construction company established in 1993 by the People’s Committee of Ninh Binh Province.
The company is headquartered at 16 Xuan Thanh, Tan Thanh Ward, Ninh Binh City, Ninh Binh Province. With a charter capital of 1,500 billion VND, the company is represented by Mr. Nguyễn Văn Trường.

The most famous project of Xuan Truong Construction is the Trang An – Bai Dinh tourist area in the ancient capital of Hoa Lu (Ninh Binh) with a total investment of 17,000 billion VND. This project was started in 2006, and the Bai Dinh Pagoda is a large complex with many Asian and Vietnamese records, including the largest bronze-gilded Buddha statue in Asia, the longest Arhat corridor in Asia, and the largest bronze Di Lac statue in Southeast Asia…

The total land area for this project is expected to be 1,874.8ha, mainly exploiting the land outside the Red River, without using rice land. The Ancient Pho Hien area covers 511.3ha, including the restoration of about 3,000 old houses, a spiritual and religious center, a communal house for worshipping ancestors, a conference and festival center for entrepreneurs…
Mr. Nguyễn Văn Trường’s business is also researching and developing the Thanh Long Lake project with a total area of about 1,502ha. The scope of the relic site includes Hung Dao, Le Loi, and Cong Hoa wards. This tourist area includes items for construction and embellishment of Buddhist worship towers, bell towers… with the focal point being the three towers in Tam Ton Lake, connected by an underground system under the lake.
On the islands in the lake, the Thanh Long Pagoda will be built and embellished to become a large pagoda to attract tourists. When the project is put into use, it will improve the landscape of the area, especially the connection, making the Con Son – Kiep Bac relic site more prominent. The project owner has also committed to investing nearly 10,000 billion VND in this tourist area over ten years.
Not only focusing on mega spiritual projects, but Xuan Truong Construction Company also has a strong presence in infrastructure projects, being a familiar contractor in many transport infrastructure projects such as National Highway 1, National Highway 10 passing through Ninh Binh Province; the high-speed road connecting Ha Long City to Bach Dang Bridge, the route connecting Hanoi – Haiphong expressway with Cau Gie – Ninh Binh expressway, through the provinces of Ha Nam, Hung Yen…
