On March 28, according to information from the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee for Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negativity Prevention has decided to monitor and provide direction to address 203 projects and 18,000 ha of land with delayed progress. They will also oversee the management and use of 113 public properties, including houses, land, and villas in the province.

Lam Dong has 203 delayed projects due to various difficulties and obstacles. Among these is the National Tourism Area of Tuyen Lam Lake, which includes large-scale tourism and resort projects that are behind schedule.

Earlier, at a working session with Inspection Team 1923, led by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, Acting Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Thai Hoc, shared that in the first quarter of 2025, the province established an inter-branch team to inspect 203 delayed projects in the area.

Regarding these projects, if the investors have the capacity and dedication to continue, the province will provide support. However, if the investors lack the necessary capabilities and commitment, the projects will be revoked. By resolving these challenges and getting the projects back on track, Lam Dong will be able to unlock significant development potential.

Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee, has instructed relevant departments and localities to focus on implementing solutions to overcome obstacles in these projects.

For issues within the authority of the central government, the Provincial People’s Committee has reported to the Ministry of Finance for synthesis and reporting to the Prime Minister for consideration and resolution. The province has also assigned the Department of Finance to monitor the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister regarding these projects to advise and propose implementation plans accordingly.

For difficulties and obstacles within the province’s authority, such as land filling materials, site clearance, overlapping of planned mineral areas, and investment capital, the departments and localities will base their solutions on their assigned tasks, managed areas, and responsibilities. They will also report and advise the Provincial People’s Committee for consideration and resolution.

The Provincial Steering Committee for Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negativity Prevention has also decided to monitor and provide direction to the case of “Violation of land management regulations” related to Minh Rong Tea Joint Stock Company in Bao Lam District.
