Meet Thuỷ Anh Hồ, the daughter of prominent businessman Hồ Hùng Anh. Mr. Hùng Anh is the Chairman of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Technical and Commercial Employees of Vietnam (Techcombank).

Mr. Hồ Hùng Anh
According to Techcombank’s 2024 Corporate Governance Report released on January 24, 2025, Mr. Hồ Hùng Anh has three children: Hồ Anh Minh (eldest son), Thuỷ Anh Hồ (second daughter), and Minh Anh Hồ (youngest daughter). All three are shareholders of TCB stock.
Thuỷ Anh Hồ and her brother, Hồ Anh Minh, own an equal number of shares, totaling 344,689,430. As of the market close on May 9, 2025, Thuỷ Anh’s stock holdings were valued at VND 9,510.6 billion.
Born in 2001, Thuỷ Anh Hồ is now 24 years old. Information about the banking heiress and her siblings is scarce, and they have never made public appearances. Nonetheless, given her background and wealth, Thuỷ Anh has gained a significant online following, affectionately dubbed the “princess” of Techcombank.

The only publicly available information about Thuỷ Anh revolves around her TCB stock transactions.
Thuỷ Anh first purchased TCB shares in July 2021, acquiring nearly 22.5 million shares. It is estimated that she invested over VND 1,100 billion in this transaction.
In September 2023, she bought an additional 82.2 million TCB shares, bringing her total holdings to 104.66 million units. This purchase is estimated to have cost approximately VND 2,700 billion.
A few months later, in November-December 2023, Mr. Hồ Hùng Anh’s daughter continued to acquire more than 67.68 million TCB shares. After this transaction, Ms. Thủy Anh held 172.34 million shares, or 4.9% of the charter capital. Since then, she has maintained her ownership percentage, but the number of shares has doubled due to Techcombank’s issuance of shares to increase capital from equity.
In late 2024, at just 23 years old, Hồ Thuỷ Anh entered the list of Vietnam’s Top 20 richest people on the stock market, becoming the youngest on the list. Based on the share price at that time, her stock holdings were estimated at VND 8,500 billion, ranking 13th alongside her brother, Hồ Anh Minh.
