On May 15, the Inspection Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee considered and decided to discipline several individuals in relation to violations at the golf club building in Da Lat City’s Golf Hill.
Specifically, Mr. Phan Van Trung, former head of the Planning and Architecture Department of Lam Dong Province’s Construction Department, was reprimanded for advising the department’s leaders to sign documents related to the golf club building project, which violated the 2014 Law on Construction and the 2020 Law on its amendment and supplementation, as well as party regulations.

According to the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee, during the investment and construction of the golf club building, the investor committed five violations.
Mr. Pham Van Thang, a former specialist in the Planning and Architecture Department, was reprimanded for advising the department’s leaders to grant a construction permit for the basement of the golf service block as part of the golf club building.
Mr. Thang violated the Law on Construction, the Law on Cultural Heritage, the Law on Environmental Protection, and the regulations on what party members must not do.
Mr. Tran Duc Loc, former head of the Planning and Architecture Department, was found to have committed violations warranting disciplinary action. However, due to the expiration of the disciplinary period, the Inspection Committee decided not to impose disciplinary measures on Mr. Loc.
As reported by Tien Phong, in 2023, the Lam Dong Construction Department granted a permit to the investor for the construction of a golf club building at Golf Hill, including a partial basement of the golf service block, covering an area of approximately 2,639 square meters.
However, during inspections, authorities discovered several unauthorized and permit-violating constructions in this complex. These violations were documented and administratively sanctioned according to regulations.

The Inspection Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee affirmed that it would continue to scrutinize and strictly handle any violations, ensuring integrity within the cadre team.
