“FPT Retail and Vietcombank Collaborate to Offer Convenient Payment Services”

On May 16, FPT Retail (HoSE: FRT) and Vietcombank, Vietnam’s Foreign Trade Joint-Stock Bank, introduced a payment agency model across all FPT Shop stores.

Specifically, from May 16 onwards, customers can deposit and withdraw cash directly at any FPT Shop nationwide through the payment agency collaboration between FPT Retail and Vietcombank. With this model, individuals can conduct financial transactions, even outside regular working hours and on weekends, without having to visit a bank branch.

To use the service, customers need to bring their original and valid ID cards (CCCD/identity cards) with clear information. For withdrawal transactions, customers must have a smartphone with the Vietcombank app installed to scan the QR code for authentication. For other transactions, the phone will be used to receive and confirm the OTP code.

Each customer is allowed to deposit and/or withdraw a maximum of VND 20 million per day, applicable to all agency locations combined. The service fee includes a 10% VAT charge.

As of mid-May 2025, the FPT Shop system has 629 stores nationwide, operating from 8 AM to 10 PM daily (operating hours may vary depending on the location).

In addition to the dynamic duo of VPBank and MWG, last year also saw the collaboration between MB and F88, offering financial solutions at over 850 transaction points nationwide.
