As reported by Tien Phong journalists, buildings along Tran Hung Dao street (Son Tra district) are the busiest spots for selling rooftop seats, especially those close to the grandstand area.

Multiple high-rise buildings on Tran Hung Dao street (Son Tra district) sell firework-viewing tickets from their rooftops.
Mr. N.M., the owner of a building on this street, shared that his rooftop can accommodate 30 seats, each priced at 300,000 VND for adults, including a complimentary bottle of mineral water and a bread loaf. “As the number of seats is limited, those who make a deposit first will secure their spot. Many people have already contacted us to reserve their seats to avoid higher prices as the event draws nearer,” said Mr. M.
Another high-rise building nearby offers rooftop seats at 400,000 VND per chair. For groups of 15-30 people wishing to book the entire rooftop, the price exceeds 10,000,000 VND.
Restaurant B.T. sells tickets for firework viewing from the 2nd floor to the rooftop, priced at 490,000 VND per seat, including drinks. Several high-end hotels also offer rooftop buffet and firework viewing packages, ranging from 1 to 2 million VND per person.

Aside from Tran Hung Dao street, other routes close to the Han River, such as Pham Van Dong, Nai Tu 2, and Ly Tu Trong, also provide rooftop seating options during the DIFF nights.
Ms. My Ngoc, a staff member at a hotel on Ly Tu Trong street (Hai Chau district), mentioned that they are selling firework-viewing spots from their 17th-floor rooftop at 390,000 VND per person. “Due to our central location and height, guests can enjoy an unobstructed view of the fireworks display. We also have the added feature of connecting to the event’s audio, allowing viewers to listen to the accompanying songs for each performance, just like being at the grandstand,” she explained.
Ms. Ngoc added that many tourists prefer watching the fireworks from rooftops because, in case of rain or windy conditions, they can quickly move indoors, and when leaving, they don’t have to deal with the crowds and long waits for their vehicles, as is often the case near the grandstand area.
