This project was inaugurated to commemorate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2025) and to promote the campaign “Planting Trees in Eternal Gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh”. Covering an area of nearly 2 hectares, Tan Thanh Tay Park (Zone 2) is located in Tan Thanh Tay commune, Cu Chi district, with a total investment of VND 21.8 billion from the city budget.

The park will feature a nearly 2-hectare park, a pavilion, restrooms, entertainment and sports areas, and a lighting system, among other amenities.

Mr. Dau An Phuc, Director of the Urban Infrastructure Board, emphasized that this is the first park project implemented by the Board under the city’s Decision 312/2021 on the development of parks and green spaces. He added that the project holds great significance in enhancing the local landscape, creating an aesthetically pleasing urban environment, meeting the recreational needs of local residents, and contributing to increasing green spaces, improving the environment, and enhancing the quality of life for the community.
“With its circular design and central square, the park is expected to become an ideal venue for outdoor events, local festivals, and community activities,” Mr. Phuc shared.
