On May 21, while patrolling National Highway 48D in Nghia My, Thai Hoa town (Nghe An province), Team 1 of the Nghe An Provincial Traffic Police inspected a Laos-registered truck with the license plate UN-3899.

The Laos-registered truck UN 3899 carried over 1,200 jars of unlabeled skincare products.
The truck was driven by Le Thanh Luu (born 1991, residing in Nai Hiep, Trieu Ai, Trieu Phong, Quang Tri province). Upon inspection, the authorities discovered 1,240 jars of skincare products of foreign origin.
However, these cosmetics lacked Vietnamese labels, manufacturing and expiration dates, product registration certificates, and Certificates of Free Sale (CFS) required for imported cosmetics.
Team 6 of the Market Management Force issued an administrative fine of VND 10 million to the violator. Simultaneously, they ordered the destruction of all 1,240 confiscated items worth VND 12.4 million.

Previously, on May 8, the Economic Police of Bac Ninh Provincial Police busted a cosmetics counterfeiting facility in Dai Lam, Lang Giang. The owner confessed to producing thousands of counterfeit products and successfully selling over 100,000 units through e-commerce platforms Shopee and TikTok.
At the scene, the police seized 13 types of cosmetics totaling 2,468 items, including makeup removers, moisturizers, acne serums (Demi Skin 3 days, SEIMY skin 7 days plus, KT’skin serum), antiperspirants (STOPIREX, Sach Hoi Nach Cu Dam Thep, Hai Sen Underarm Odor Remover, BEUFRES Underarm Spray, ALUFAN Alum Water, INOD Armpit Serum, Crystal 24 Hour).
Additionally, they confiscated approximately 104,000 anti-counterfeit labels and various packaging materials, nearly 10,000 bottles and containers, millions of packaging boxes, 300 kg of raw materials (including alum, mixing solutions), and production equipment such as banding machines and date stamping machines.
