Far Eastern Polytex Vietnam Co., Ltd. (FEPV), in collaboration with AEON Mall Vietnam, is proud to announce its annual eco-friendly initiative. From May 25 to June 5, join us as we collect and recycle used PET plastic bottles at AEON malls in Binh Tan and Binh Duong districts, in celebration of World Environment Day on June 5.
RECYCLE – THE BEGINNING OF REBIRTH
This year’s event continues to encourage the community to bring their PET bottles to collection points at AEON Mall and receive exciting gifts in return. Participants will also have the opportunity to experience the Reverse Vending Machine, an environmentally friendly technology for collecting used plastic bottles, fostering a habit of recycling and sorting among consumers.
Moreover, the Eco Contest 2025, a “golden bell challenge” for secondary school students themed “Green Generation – Taking Action for the Environment”, will be held at three AEON malls (Tan Phu, Binh Tan, and Binh Duong). This contest aims to test and enhance the younger generation’s knowledge about waste sorting, recycling, and environmental protection, inspiring green actions from a young age.
FEPV – GIVING NEW LIFE TO USED PET BOTTLES
As a member of the Far Eastern New Century Corporation (FENC), a global pioneer in PET plastic recycling, FEPV has continuously invested in modern recycling technology, aiming to create high-value products from post-consumer goods. With over 30 years of experience in recycling, FENC has established a network of RPET plants in various countries, including Taiwan, Japan, China, the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the USA.
FEPV has developed an extensive range of rPET products from used PET bottles, including food and non-food packaging, textiles, household goods, automotive components, and more. Each product showcases both high functionality and the potential of a circular economy.
In Vietnam, FEPV’s RPET plant commenced operations in 2025, marking a significant step forward in effectively managing the country’s plastic waste and promoting a circular economic model. The plant utilizes advanced technology to recycle used PET bottles into materials that meet the standards of the FDA (USA) and EFSA (Europe), catering to the domestic and export needs of the food packaging industry.
With its sustainable production systems and global reach, FENC has contributed to the rebirth of over 22 billion post-consumer PET bottles annually, preventing approximately 15,000 tons of plastic waste from entering our oceans. 2025 marks the fourth consecutive year of FEPV and AEONMALL Vietnam’s partnership in organizing Eco Event, a community-driven initiative to promote recycling habits. In 2024, the program attracted over 6,000 participants and collected 23,000 used PET bottles from AEON malls nationwide.
Eco Event 2025 will take place at the following locations:
AEON Mall Binh Tan: May 25 to June 5, 2025
AEON Mall Binh Duong: May 31 to June 5, 2025
Bring at least 20 used PET bottles to the event and receive a premium canvas bag as a token of our appreciation for your environmental efforts. Don’t miss the chance to interact with the Reverse Vending Machine and be a part of this green journey!

EMBRACING A GREEN LIFESTYLE, STARTING WITH SMALL ACTIONS
Through Eco Event 2025, FEPV and AEON Mall Vietnam aim to foster a culture of recycling in the community and instill a green mindset in the younger generation, starting with simple acts like sorting and collecting plastic bottles.
Join FEPV on this journey of rebirth – where every plastic bottle finds new life, every child learns about the environment, and we all move closer to a sustainable lifestyle.
Failure to Embrace Circular Economy Will See Logistics Businesses Left Behind
If logistics companies fail to embrace green practices and adopt a circular economic model, they risk facing significant challenges and falling behind in the global supply chain. The time to act is now, or businesses will face the consequences and struggle to keep up with the evolving demands of the industry.
