Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG-HOSE) has just announced its business results for the first four months of 2025, with total revenue reaching VND 48,635 billion, up 13% over the same period and completing 32% of the yearly plan (VND 150,000 billion).
In particular, for The Gioi Di Dong and Dien May Xanh chains: in April 2025, the total revenue of The Gioi Di Dong and Dien May Xanh chains reached VND 8.3 trillion, up 13% compared to March 2025 and up 3% over the same period last year.
Among the product groups, revenue from air conditioners, refrigerators, and cooling equipment increased by 30% to 100% compared to the previous month, due to high demand during the hot season, along with superior services (same-day installation, buy now pay later, free installation, extended warranty, etc.); Mobile phones and tablets group saw a slight increase compared to the previous month and over 20% compared to the same period last year; The TV group grew by more than 20% compared to the previous month and returned to positive growth in the first four months compared to the same period.
In the first four months, the total revenue of the two chains reached VND 32.6 trillion, up 11% over the same period in 2024. The growth of existing stores remained at over 10%.
The online channel in the first four months reached nearly VND 1.9 trillion, contributing 6% to the total revenue of the two chains.
Bach Hoa Xanh chain: In the first four months, the Bach Hoa Xanh chain achieved nearly VND 15 trillion in revenue, up 21% over the same period. The growth rate of fresh produce and FMCG groups was equivalent.
The average revenue of stable stores for at least 6 months (opened before 09/01/2024) remained at VND 2.1 billion/store.
After the first four months of the year, the company opened 359 new stores, nearly 50% of which were in the Central region. The new stores generated positive operating profits after deducting direct operating expenses at the store level.

As of the end of April 2025, MWG had a total of 1,017 The Gioi Di Dong stores (including Topzone), 2,025 Dien May Xanh stores, 2,129 Bach Hoa Xanh stores, 326 An Khang pharmacies, 62 AVAKids stores, and 99 Era Blue stores.
In 2025, despite the risks from countervailing taxes, MWG did not adjust its after-tax profit plan for 2025 of VND 4.9 trillion (+30% YoY) and remained committed to this target. Based on current business results, MWG is confident in paying cash dividends at VND 1,000/share and repurchasing 10 million shares in 2025.
Regarding the 2025 investment plan of VND 1.2 trillion (up 20% compared to the previous plan for 2025), it will mainly be used for store expansion.
