Introducing the SONA Vocational Training and Labor Export Center (located in Do Ha village, Tien Phong commune, Me Linh district, Hanoi) – the only training facility under the SONA Company, established in 2008.

The center was invested with over $6 million in funding from the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs (now the Ministry of Home Affairs). It spans an area of 40,000 square meters and has the capacity to train over 2,000 students annually.

A bird’s-eye view of the center showcases its spacious and well-organized layout.

The center boasts a modern and well-equipped lecture hall, providing a conducive learning environment for students.

Students engage in hands-on training, gaining practical skills that will prove invaluable in their future careers.

A vibrant and diverse library offers students a wealth of resources to support their learning journey.

Within the campus, you’ll find lecture halls, offices, practical training rooms, labs, and a library, all designed to enhance the educational experience.

The center also features a five-story dormitory with over 80 self-contained rooms, providing comfortable accommodations for students pursuing labor export opportunities.

Located behind the dormitory is a sports area, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for the students.

SONA Company, formerly known as the Overseas Labor Service Station established in 1990, is a leading labor export enterprise in Vietnam. With a capital of over 97 billion VND, their main business areas include labor export, education consulting, and airline ticketing. In 2024, SONA was recognized as one of the eight most prominent labor export enterprises, having sent over 60,000 Vietnamese workers to over 30 countries and territories.

On May 21st, the Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security issued an arrest warrant for four key figures of SONA, including the Chairman and the General Director, on charges of “Violation of accounting regulations, causing serious consequences” as stipulated in Article 221 of the 2015 Criminal Code, amended and supplemented in 2017.

According to the investigation, SONA took advantage of their position as a licensed labor export organizer to impose additional service fees on vulnerable workers. These fees, kept off the official accounting books, were used for personal gain, causing financial damage to the affected individuals and evading tax obligations.
