As part of the planned two-tier local government model (scheduled to begin on July 1, 2025), Lang Son province has reorganized 194 communal-level administrative units into 65 grassroots-level units.

This month, authorized agencies will consider and approve early retirement requests with benefits for these officials and civil servants in Lang Son province.
Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces have nearly 470 cases of early retirement
Specifically, Bac Giang province has received 321 dossiers for resolving policies and benefits under Government Decrees 178 and 67, including 275 cases from the government apparatus and 46 from the party, Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations at the provincial and district levels. Of these, 251 cases have been evaluated as meeting the conditions for early retirement as prescribed.
Bac Giang province expects 626 cases of retirement under Government Decrees 178 and 67 (from June to December 2025), including 496 early retirements and 130 resignations. The expected cost is over VND 758 billion.
The Bac Giang Department of Home Affairs has issued documents to the People’s Committees of districts, towns, and cities, requesting the review and compilation of the number, conditions, and qualifications of officials and non-professional staff at the communal level who are entitled to policies and benefits. After the results are available, the competent authorities will proceed with the appraisal and approval of the eligible subjects for benefits under Government Decree 29/2023/ND-CP dated June 3, 2023.
