The market may experience a temporary slowdown after a period of rapid growth, but a significant price drop is almost impossible, especially in major cities like Hanoi, where the demand for housing remains consistently high.”

Mr. Dinh attributed the continuous rise in condo prices to Hanoi’s population density, which was eight times the national average in 2023 and has been on an upward trend in the last five years. “It is evident that condo prices in Hanoi are influenced by various fundamental factors. Therefore, a significant decrease in condo prices in the near future is highly improbable, and the upward trend is likely to persist in the medium to long term,” emphasized Mr. Dinh.

Given these factors, the upward momentum in condo prices is expected to continue. The rate of increase will depend on the actual developments of the constituting factors at that time.
