During the session, Tan Hoang Minh Group proposed to conduct further research and develop a detailed master plan for the project, which will be implemented on an area of approximately 4,320 hectares in Xuan Tho Commune, Da Lat City.
The company aims to acquire sufficient land in Xuan Tho to develop a smart city that integrates high technology, eco-tourism, modern film studios, and sustainable high-tech agriculture. The goal is to create a satellite city that can help decongest the central area of Da Lat.
The new urban area is envisioned to be divided into eight functional subdivisions, aiming to attract residents from various areas while improving the livelihoods and quality of life for local residents.
Mr. Dang Quang Tu, Chairman of Da Lat City’s People’s Committee, suggested that the investor stay updated with the latest planning information related to transportation, population, and forestry, especially the Master Plan No. 704 of the city, to carefully consider and plan the project’s design and concept.
Representatives from the Lam Dong Department of Construction recommended reviewing and adjusting some contents to align with the province’s previously approved master plan.
According to Decision 704/QD-TTg dated May 12, 2014, issued by the Prime Minister, the master plan for Da Lat and its vicinity by 2030, with a vision towards 2050 (Master Plan 704), includes four urban areas: the central historical urban area, the northern clean agricultural urban area, and the eastern and western expansion urban areas.
The eastern urban area, in particular, is planned to accommodate a population of approximately 70,000 people and cover an area of about 1,700 hectares. It has been attracting investors due to its large land availability and sustainable, eco-friendly development orientation, which aligns with Da Lat’s new trend.
