“Nam A Bank Plans to Boost Charter Capital by 30% in 2025”
The plan to increase charter capital was previously approved by the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. Nam A Bank intends to issue over 343 million shares to boost its equity capital as of December 31, 2024, representing a 25% increase, potentially raising up to VND 3,431 billion.
Concurrently, the Bank plans to issue 85 million shares under an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), increasing its capital by VND 850 billion. Shares issued under the ESOP program are subject to a 100% transfer restriction for one year from the end of the issuance and a 50% restriction in the following year. The expected timeline for implementation is 2025, following the completion of the capital increase from the equity capital source.
If the issuances are successful, Nam A Bank’s charter capital will increase by up to VND 4,281 billion, raising it from VND 13,725 billion to VND 18,007 billion.
