Impressive Revenue Growth Outpacing the Industry Average

Viettel Global’s 2024 financial results showcased notable highlights. The Corporation’s consolidated revenue reached VND 35,368 billion, a 25% increase compared to 2023. This growth rate is six times higher than the average growth rate of the global telecommunications industry, as per GSMA Intelligence. Consequently, Viettel Global attained a daily revenue of nearly VND 100 billion.

The consolidated pre-tax profit amounted to VND 10,667 billion, reflecting a 175% surge from the previous year. The consolidated post-tax profit stood at VND 7,173 billion, the highest ever, marking a significant 335% climb. Given these outstanding results, the General Meeting of Shareholders approved a cash dividend payout at a rate of 7.5%, equivalent to VND 750 per share, as per the Ministry of Finance’s regulations.

In her report at the General Meeting, General Director Nguyen Thi Hoa highlighted the remarkable growth across all market companies, with standout performances from Viettel Burundi, achieving a 55% increase, Viettel Haiti with a 23% rise, and Viettel Mozambique, which grew by 21%.

“We have officially entered the Viettel Global 3.0 phase,” affirmed Ms. Hoa. “Investing in digital infrastructure is among our top priorities to ensure sustainable development. Every shareholder’s capital is valued and utilized with the utmost responsibility.”

Alongside telecommunications, digital services remained a robust growth driver for Viettel Global in 2024. Total revenue from digital services witnessed a substantial boost, notably in the e-wallet segment, which expanded by 57%. All nine e-wallet companies under Viettel Global in the market recorded impressive growth, including E-Mola (Viettel Mozambique) at +98%, Lumicash (Viettel Burundi) at +50%, and E-money (Viettel Cambodia) with a +33% increase.

In 2024, Viettel Mozambique ascended to the top position in terms of mobile subscribers, e-wallet subscribers, and mobile revenue. Consequently, Viettel Global now holds the leading position in seven markets. Additionally, during the same year, Viettel Global proudly received six labor orders and merit certificates from the governments of Vietnam and its partner countries, totaling 30 labor orders and merit certificates, along with 90 prestigious international awards. These accolades recognize the company’s relentless efforts in economic integration and promoting Vietnam and its people.

Changes in the Board of Directors

The General Meeting approved the dismissal of two Board of Directors members, Mr. Phung Van Cuong and Mr. Le Xuan Hung, along with the Supervisory Board member, Mr. Le Quang Tiep, due to their transfer to other units within the Group. The newly elected members include Mr. Hoang Van Ngoc, Ms. Doan Thi Thu Nga, and Mr. Vu Sy Manh.

For 2025, Viettel Global aims for a consolidated revenue of VND 38,649 billion and a consolidated pre-tax profit of VND 7,599 billion. The management reaffirms its commitment to the digital transformation strategy and the development of digital services while maintaining its stronghold in the traditional telecommunications market.
