GM Vietnam 2025, an international Web3 tech event organized by Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Chairman of SSI Securities, and his colleagues, will take place in early August at the National Convention Center in Hanoi.

One of the notable figures mentioned by Mr. Hung is Nguyen Nam Long, a 7th-grade student who has been appointed as Chief Growth Officer (CGO) at a tech company founded by his father.

“The presence of Nam Long, representing the citizens of the Era of Vietnam’s Rise, testifies to a generation that is maturing rapidly in the digital world,” he writes.

Born in 2012, Nam Long attends Tran Dai Nghia Secondary-High School in Ho Chi Minh City and has gained attention on social media for his self-learning abilities, passion for technology, and independent thinking. His family does not intervene deeply in his studies and does not emphasize academic achievements or conform to stereotypes. In this environment, Long achieved an overall band score of 8.0 in IELTS on his first attempt, with a perfect score of 9.0 in Listening and Speaking. Previously, he had also attained 920/990 in TOEIC.

Besides languages, Long has a keen interest in programming and films. He reached the quarterfinals of the Filmantic screenplay competition in its 9th season. He has also received internship offers from several domestic tech companies before officially taking on an executive role at the age of 13, as part of his family company’s globalization plan.

According to Mr. Hung, sometimes “the most inspiring person is the youngest one at the event.” He believes that GM Vietnam is not just a place to update on technology but also a venue to glimpse into the future, where talents like Nam Long have the opportunity to showcase their potential and connect with the global community.

The SSI Chairman emphasizes that the event is not exclusively for blockchain enthusiasts, finance professionals, or entrepreneurs. GM Vietnam aims to bring together individuals who aspire to understand, learn, and create real value in the digital era.

The event is expected to attract veteran founders, international investment funds, tech companies, and promising Web3 startups in Vietnam. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform to connect Vietnamese youth with the global tech community.
