The Department of Cyber Security and Prevention of High-Tech Crimes of Bac Giang Provincial Police, through their proactive monitoring, detected and handled the two aforementioned cases.

Specifically, in the case of T.T.L (47 years old) from Moc Chau town, Son La province, the individual used a Facebook account to post a video and comments that distorted the truth and caused public concern by claiming that “the lychees were soaked in cold water and chemicals.” The Bac Giang Provincial Police collaborated with the Son La Provincial Police to complete the dossier and strictly handle the case in accordance with regulations.

In another case, H.C.S (36 years old), a resident of Phuong Son ward, Chu town, Bac Giang province, posted negative content on Facebook, stating, “If the lychees don’t end up in the river, they’ll end up in the stream.” This information created a negative perception and impacted the local lychee harvest and consumption.

The case was handled by the Phuong Son Ward Police according to regulations.
