In the afternoon of June 15, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hai Duong Province, and his entourage inspected the preparation work for the pilot operation at the People’s Committee of Le Dai Hanh Ward (Chi Linh City).
Le Dai Hanh Ward is a newly merged administrative unit, consisting of the former wards of An Lac, Dong Lac, and Tan Dan. The ward’s headquarters are located in the former Tan Dan Ward.
According to the plan, on the morning of June 16, Le Dai Hanh Ward will pilot the operation of the new local government with a two-tier model. This includes organizing the first meeting of the Ward People’s Council, the first session of the Ward People’s Committee, and handling administrative procedures at the Public Administration Service Center.

In the afternoon of June 16, the remaining 11 wards and communes out of the 12 in Hai Duong Province will also pilot the operation of the new local government. These include Duong An, Nguyen Luong Bang, Tan An, Tan Ky, Gia Phuc, Thach Khoi, An Phu, Nhi Chieu, Ha Bac, and Kim Thanh.
The pilot sessions at Le Dai Hanh Ward will be conducted online and connected to the other 63 wards and communes in Hai Duong Province, allowing for knowledge sharing and mutual learning.
During the inspection at Le Dai Hanh Ward, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung emphasized the need for thorough preparation of documents and a well-organized agenda for the meetings. He also advised that the duration of each meeting should not exceed 45 minutes and that the content discussed should be relevant to the newly established ward, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere.

Mr. Hung also highlighted the importance of ensuring a solid foundation in terms of infrastructure and information technology. He emphasized the need for smooth operations, especially in terms of online connectivity and live streaming of the meetings to the other 63 wards and communes for knowledge sharing.
As of June 15, the 12 wards and communes in Hai Duong Province have completed the necessary preparations and are ready for the pilot operation of the new local government model, which will commence on June 16.
