According to the Hanoi Department of Construction, the Ecohome 3 social housing project in Dong Ngac Ward, Bac Tu Liem District, is accepting applications for the purchase of 110 social housing units that have been rented for five years. The apartment sizes range from 39.9 to 69.7 square meters.
The apartment price is VND 16.3 million per square meter (including VAT, excluding maintenance fees), and the rental price is VND 73,155 per square meter per month (including VAT).
The application deadline is July 10th.
The Ecohome 3 project, developed by the Hanoi Capital Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, comprises a total of 1,456 apartments. Of these, 1,008 are social housing units for sale, 181 are commercial units, and the rest are social housing units for rent. Consequently, 157 rental units will be offered for sale in the future.

Another project currently accepting applications for the purchase of rental units is the CT2A social housing building in the Thach Ban residential area, Thach Ban Ward, Long Bien District.
At the end of last year, 82 social housing units were converted to sale after five years of rent in this project. However, only 77 customers signed purchase agreements. Therefore, the project is selling the remaining five units.
The price announced by the investor is VND 12.2 million per square meter (including VAT, excluding maintenance fees). The rental price is VND 40,000 per square meter per month (including VAT).
The application deadline is July 15th.
The CT2A building comprises a total of 414 apartments, including 250 social housing units for sale, 82 social housing units for rent, and 82 commercial units for sale.
Notably, only eligible customers can purchase these apartments. To be eligible, customers must have rented social housing units for at least five years in the respective projects.
