The Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thanh Hoa Province has issued an administrative fine of VND 250 million to KH Group Joint Stock Company (address: 01 Nguyen Chi Thanh, Dong Tho Ward, Thanh Hoa City).

According to the decision, the violation occurred at the land filling and silica rock mining site in Truong Minh Commune, Nong Cong District, Thanh Hoa Province. In 2022, KH Group Joint Stock Company exceeded the permitted annual exploitation capacity stated in the Mineral Exploitation and Land Lease License No. 114/GP-UBND dated April 16, 2018, issued by the People’s Committee of Thanh Hoa Province, by 25% to under 50% (33.0% excess). Based on legal regulations, the People’s Committee of Thanh Hoa Province fined KH Group VND 120 million.

Furthermore, in 2023, KH Group Joint Stock Company again exceeded the permitted annual exploitation capacity in the aforementioned license by 25% to under 50% (37.1% excess).

Consequently, the People’s Committee of Thanh Hoa Province decided to fine KH Group Joint Stock Company VND 130 million. Additionally, KH Group was subjected to a 3.5-month suspension of mineral exploitation activities related to License No. 114/GP-UBND.

In summary, for violating the permitted exploitation capacity in 2022 and 2023, KH Group Joint Stock Company has been fined a total of VND 250 million by the People’s Committee of Thanh Hoa Province and had their mining operations suspended for 3.5 months.
