Specifically, the Yamaha NVX 155 is being offered with a direct price reduction of up to VND 3 million, bringing the actual price down to approximately VND 52.3 million, a significant drop from the listed price. Notably, depending on the dealership, customers who purchase the vehicle during this period will also receive a complimentary fashion watch, adding to the value of the offer.
In contrast, the direct competitor of the Yamaha NVX 155, the Honda Vario 160, maintains a relatively high price point, with some dealerships even marking up the price by VND 1-3 million compared to the listed price, depending on the version and region.
The Yamaha NVX 155 is a sporty scooter that stands out with its modern and aggressive design, as well as its array of premium features. For the 2025 model, the new headlight of the Yamaha NVX 155 VVA is larger and swept back, while the turn signals are separated and lowered to match the design.
This scooter boasts a range of modern equipment, including front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, an anti-lock braking system (ABS) on the front wheel, a USB port for charging mobile devices, a smart key system, LED lighting, and a spacious under-seat storage compartment capable of accommodating two adult-sized helmets.
The Yamaha NVX 155 is powered by a liquid-cooled, 155cc Blue Core engine. It features a single-cylinder, electronic fuel injection, and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) system, delivering strong performance. The piston diameter and stroke have been improved to 58 x 58.7 mm, with a compression ratio of 11.6:1, up from the previous 11.2:1.
The NVX 155 VVA delivers a maximum power output of 11.3 kW / 8,000 rpm (15.4 hp) and a peak torque of 13.9 N.m (1.4 kgf.m) / 6,500 rpm. In the latest version, the engine is claimed to have a fuel consumption rate of 2.19 liters per 100 km.
